I've heard from my friends that Blogdrive is going to close soon. But here I am still posting entries when sooner or later, they will all dissolve into futility.
Life-wise, no matter how many times I've thought of the uselessness of my plans, I'm still trying my best to do them. No matter how many times I've foreseen failure. No matter how many times I've assumed heartbreaks.

From Ida's blog:
Leave a comment and I'll reply by answering the following:
1. I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll tell you my wish for you. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. 5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal.

Money Makes The World Go Round
Along the way to our outreach in Manila, I popped a trivial question to my friends, "What were your biggest but weirdest dreams when you were little?"
I gave out my quick answer to my own question, and I said that I really wanted to be a cashier. I was always amazed by people who dot their fingers on this huge calculator with a big box underneath. I even got a toy cashier present from the late aunt ages ago. I just love the way the cashier would open-up with its 'ching' sound. And I've always loved to arrange money (specifically paper bills) in it.
Then succeeding answers were made. One of my friends said that she had always wanted to be a bank teller. Another friend who was supposed to be preoccupied with driving and finding our way to the peculiar location (by the way, another weird thing, Concordia Children Services is squeezed in between motels, what a way to raise kids in such an environment!), answered that he wanted to be a bus conductor because it's fun to fold paper bills in between fingers.
After a momentary silence, my friend who dreamt to be a teller realized that all of us wanted to count money. Being kids, we never really had the thought that it was our money but the mere fact that we are holding money with our own hands makes the dream look grandiose and fulfilling.
It's just so funny that being grown-ups, we never dared to try those strange childhood dreams again. Dreaming about money is no longer about just counting and holding them.

On another note, I find David Archuleta really, really cute. Now that's something not money-related!

I promised myself, I'll be blogging more often.
Work suffocates me that I have forgotten to breathe out all that needs to be exhaled.
I actually have other plans, aside from blogging, to vent this accumulating frustration, anger and stress in the most positive way I can. But bending towards my stubborn self is now very, very necessary.

…and she hanged herself from the highest ceiling where no one, nothing
can touch her feet. Her toes gracefully float in the silent air. Her
blood would empty out to pallidness. But her memory remains sealed in
the haunting face of tragedy and happiness.

Waits for the black hole sun to wash away the rain. Sings rock songs in videoke. Can read Korean characters. Has a strong affinity for isopropyl alcohol. Poetry and music addict. Can draw stick people. Lousy handwriting. Loves pink and black. Introvert. Introspective. Pizzapasta lover.

10 things I hate about me
1. I can never appreciate flowers. Butterfly phobic (or whatever the right term for this) = distance myself from anything that they love.
2. I am a certified garbage collector. I collect receipts, plastic bags, paper bags, Tower records and other record store’s wrappings for CD’s, memos, passed-notes (from school during a boring class), quizzes and other activities that involve papers from my favorite subjects, etc.
3. I can easily fall in love (tsk, tsk... )
4. I bite my handkerchiefs (so they usually appear worn and frayed).
5. I am an introvert (so what the hell am I doing this blog for? And why in the world does my profile appear on Friendster?) ... Nah, John Donne’s right, no man is an island (duh?!!)
6. I am a spendthrift when in comes to books and CD’s
7. I don’t care about new clothes and fashion. My mom jokingly tells me every time I would be in need of a new attire or piece of clothing for a certain event or occasion, I can tie up or sew together all my books and CD’s to have something to wear. Nyahaha!
8. I am a paradox of everything and that is why my life is always a clear confusion.
9. I do things that are not supposed to be done, miss people you’re not supposed to miss, read books that are not supposed to be read, love people you are not supposed to love but in the end...it doesn’t even matter
10. I am always a wannabe.
